Social Media

Over the past five years of managing social media accounts, my strategy has stayed pretty simple: keep it entertaining.

Hopping on a trend, writing a clever caption your audience actually relates to, or finding the story behind a product — I keep people at the center of the content and have fun with it.

Yep, that's my strategy. If I don't have fun watching it, neither will the audience.

Below are links to feeds for a brand I currently manage, the ChopLocal Meat Marketplace.

Below are specific examples of reels, TikToks, static posts and Youtube videos.

During my time working for ChopLocal, I have created weekly recipe reels showing off our products while providing cooking inspiration in an engaging way.

In this example, I used a simplistic approach to promote vendors on the ChopLocal platform.

I created this Instagram carousel to highlight the simple steps for using the ChopLocal platform. I utilized brand photography I had captured and kept the design simple while remaining visually engaging.

My goal with this reel was to reach multiple audiences by showcasing visuals from OSU's Homecoming. I used trending audio as a strategy to push this content to both followers and non-followers. The post received 90% more engagement than previous posts.

My goal was to visually reinforce the connection between the product and the farmer. I did this by combining product photos with authentic scenes from our farmers’ and ranchers’ operations.

I created a video feature highlighting an honorable teacher at the Oklahoma State University Child Development Lab.

I led and executed the full project. This included filming footage, conducting interviews, recording audio, and editing the final video for YouTube.
